SOLA kids play and learn with art, crafts, music, pretend, science, nature, theatre, English, Spanish, sign language, mathematics & social skills in a nurturing environment that tailors the curriculum to each child's needs and development.

Kids can partake in indoor and outdoor activities from organized outdoor cooperative games, gardening & theatre, to arts, cooking and music with professional artisans.

We offer pottery, painting, collage, drawing, model building, murals & more! SOLA is... a TV & video game free zone! We work at boosting imaginations and creativity!

We provide transportation from many area schools usually involving playing of air guitars & air drums in the SOLA VAN BAND. We follow the traditional New Hanover County calendar. Self esteem building and development is our main goal of our Midday and After-School programs.

Students receive homework help in a positive environment staffed with teachers, parents and adult professionals, serving as coaches, mentors and lion tamers in the game of life.
