Where Every Childhood Matters — starting with the littlest ones. SOLA Preschool is a half-day program (4 hours) for children ages 3–5, built around what young kids actually need: Art, Music, Play, and gentle kindergarten preparation — all wrapped in our founding rule: Kind + Gentle + Respectful = FUN. Four hours is the sweet spot for this age — long enough for rich mornings of creating, exploring, and learning; short enough to honor the naps, family time, and unhurried afternoons that little ones still need. We follow the New Hanover County traditional calendar (180 school days), so preschool here fits seamlessly alongside older siblings' schedules. Parents drop off and pick up each day. Fair warning: your child will get dirty here. Paint on their hands, sand in their shoes, grass stains on their knees — that's what a good day of real childhood looks like. We believe kids learn best when they're free to explore, create, and play, and we make sure the learning that prepares them for kindergarten happens right alongside the fun. Launching January 2027 — and possibly sooner! We're taking enrollments now, and if the program fills quickly, we'll open our doors early. $750/month for 10 months.
